Q. Will this work with ryzen 7 3800x?

A. It will work, but this is a low budget motherboard with basic VRM, so kind of will limit what you can do with a high end CPU. I wouldn't go higher than a 3600 with it. If your spending the money on a 3800X then get a better board.

It is supposed to if the Bios is updated. It shows compatibly with 3 series Ryzens.
